The Potomac Valley Audubon Society is pleased to offer a scholarship for a K-12 teacher from Berkeley, Jefferson, or Morgan County (WV) or Washington County (MD) to attend Sharing Nature: An Educator's Week at Hog Island

The Potomac Valley Audubon Society offers this scholarship to K-12 teachers so that they can learn various approaches for engaging their students with nature! Previous scholarship award winners have shared with us about what a transformative experience it has been for them and their students! 

Please note that this scholarship covers program fees but does not include transportation costs or fees associated with continuing education credits or  stipends. The program fee does include meals and housing during the program. We recommend contacting your board office to see if travel money or continuing education credits/stipend are available.

This scholarship is possible thanks to the generosity of a donor. We are grateful for their generosity and support in providing this transformative experience for a teacher!
