Per PHS tradition, during Senior Week, our graduates visit Hathaway (elementary), Melville (elementary) and Portsmouth Middle School in their cap & gown for one final stroll down memory lane. The purpose of this trip is to inspire our Portsmouth youth to do their best and dream big as they experience this first taste of what it means to have #PatriotPRIDE.
Regardless of personal experience, all participating Seniors will be transported by bus to Portsmouth Middle School to begin this memorable experience. After the PMS stroll, graduates board a bus to visit either Hathaway Elementary School or Melville Elementary School. This choice must be made with the PHS Graduation Coordinator (Mrs. Wentzel) prior to the date of this trip.
If a graduate attended Wilbur-McMahon (Little Compton) for their K-8 experience, these graduates have the option of driving themselves to Wilbur McMahon School in lieu of participating in the Hathaway or Melville portion of their Senior Stroll experience.
