Pastor Ron has, in one capacity or another, been at Port Madison Lutheran Church since 1995. He initially shared the call to Port Madison with his wife, the Rev. Lori Hoyum. From 2001 to 2013, he served as the Assistant to the Bishop of the Southwestern Washington Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), while Pastor Lori served the congregation full time. In 2014, he returned to Port Madison to serve alongside Pastor Lori––a call they shared until her death in 2016. Pastor Ron is a 1975 graduate of Washington State University (WSU), and also holds a J.D. degree from Willamette University School of Law (1978). His Master of Divinity degree is from Luther Northwestern Theological Seminary (1983), and he was ordained that same year in the American Lutheran Church (ALC), one of the predecessor bodies of the North American Lutheran Church (NALC). Pastor Ron has three adult children: Erica, John, and Gretchen.
Karen Lindsey - Office Administrator
Karen joined Port Madison in 1994 and has been running our church office since 2000.
She is a wife and mother to twin girls. She and her husband, Bob, have lived on Bainbridge Island for most of their lives. An avid animal lover - she has a horse, a dog, and occasionally babysits her daughters' cats!

Georgene Corey - Organist
Georgene has been the organist at Port Madison Lutheran Church since January 2006. Her academic background includes a Bachelor's degree of Music Theory and a Master's degree in Organ Performance. She is also a Nationally Certified Teacher of music and maintains a private piano studio in Poulsbo, WA where she resides with her husband, Scott.
The church organ is a two manual, mechanical (tracker) action pipe organ built specifically for Port Madison by Steven Cook of Seattle.
