Let's explore the world around us! Here are some new places to visit virtually. As you visit each place think about some fun things you learned.
Yes that is right, beyond our known planets and solar system. NASA has been bringing us to the distant stars, galaxies, and yes planets for years digitally. For this weeks virtual field trip, use the videos created by the Hubble Telescope to virtually tour the skies beyond Earth.
What is the Hubble Space Telescope? Check this link out to answer that question and more!

On November 26, 2011 NASA Launched the Curiosity Rover to find out if it was suitable for life. Take a trip to Mars to see what it discovered. Your first stop is the landing. Use your mousepad to drag around and see the area. Then click the map to visit the different sites on Mars.
What do you think? Could people live on Mars?

Field Trip: The British Museum
https://britishmuseum.withgoogle.com/
In this trip you will be able to look at pieces of the past or present. The British Museum has artifacts and art work from all over the world. The museum also categorizes (classifies) the pieces by themes, be sure to check out the different themes. You are able to click on pieces from all different time periods as well. One of my favorite pieces is the Viking Silver Disc Brooch of ÆDWEN. What things did you like? What theme was your favorite to explore?
This week we travel to... The San Diego Zoo
There are many cameras in the different areas for the animals. Take a look around. What do you see? What more do you want to learn? Did you like this trip better than the last?
Each animal also has a video to describe them. Check out this one on Sumatran Tigers
