Lincoln and Lyman Moore Middle School Libraries

MISSION

Our mission is to foster literacy and critical thinking skills, to support the curriculum, and to provide services and access to resources beyond the school walls. It is the goal of the learning common's staff to provide guidance and instruction in the accession, location, and utilization of information and to instill a love of reading in our students.

NEW IN THE LEARNING COMMONS

As our district is opening with a hybrid model of learning this fall, we librarians have been working to make sure students and teachers have access to quality eBooks and audiobooks and other teaching and research materials.

Check out the tabs above to access help for research projects, access to eBook and audiobook platforms, and research guides on a variety of topics.

New here is a weekly newsletter, Weekly Blast, with book talks and recommendations, cool sites to check out, and fun book-related activities.

Ms. Rooks misses you and wants to stay connected! Our school's book club and SAGA group (Sexuality and Gender Acceptance) will soon be up and running remotely via Google Classroom. New members are always welcome....send an email if you are interested in joining (see address below).

This year, students at Lincoln Middle School will have access to a new eBook platform called JLG Digital. Student will be able to access a great collection of new titles each month.
