City of Pure

This is the year 2050. The world has changed. World War T started because of a nuclear bomb sent by America. The War eliminated 98% of the world's population. After this, some people evolved, some devolved, and some became savages. We split into three kingdoms; City of Pure, Disto, and Scarro. Luckily, I am one of the people who evolved. We have not only rebuilt our kingdom, we've also improved it, made it pure, and more beautiful. I don't know if there will be another War; I just don't want the people in the future to make the same mistake.

Abduction

I was warned not to look into its eyes, but it was too late; it picked me up with its claws punching my waist. All I could do was look at its face while it drove its claws into my stomach... a burning sensation woke me from its trance. I looked away and tried to escape with the few left, as piles of bodies increased by the second with burning buildings collapsing into dust. The sky red as more of them came to earth, the spaceships turning into vessels to hold the captured. That was my last memory on earth.

The Day They Came

It was a normal day; everything was great. Suddenly a black cloud appeared in the clear blue sky. It opened a hole blacker than the darkest night, colder than dead space. Then. . .they came! Their skin black and shriveled with claws long and sharp as knives. Their bodies deformed as if someone had taken them apart and rearranged the pieces of their bodies. They had no eyes, but they could still find us. That was five years ago. They killed almost everyone, ripped them to shreds and ate the remains. I'm the only one left. They came for us all.

We Are Still Here

We were the only ones left as the dark clouds of smoke started to fade out. You can see the bodies covered in patches of blood and dirt. Bodies decapitated and cars flipped over with puddles of gas underneath them. It looks like the tsunami engulfed the city and threw up whatever was inside it. As my brother and I scatter the city looking for scraps of food, we stumble upon a dead rat. Since all other food was destroyed we had no other option but to eat it. Who knows if we will make it out alive.

The Room

We were all happy in the room, then it happened. I thought it was a regular one. I was wrong. Jamie flew out of the room. Next thing you know it was pitch black. I had fainted. When I woke, well you can say I was still alive but blood was dripping. I don't know from where. I walked outside. I saw Jamie. He was dead, but I kept walking. I needed to survive. Even if blood kept dripping. Then I saw it. The ground shaking again. Then I told myself I needed to survive it just one more.
