Types of assignments in Physics 2
Homework problems - usually mathematical problems that require a step by step solution in order to earn credit. Credit is based upon completing the problem, not for accuracy. We will check problems as a class.
Labs - Labs will be performed in groups. Data should be recorded independently. Lab reports are usually completed by each individual student. The work done in the report is to be the student's own work.
Tests/Quizzes - Tests and quizzes are independent work to demonstrate a student's understanding and abilities using physics.
EQUATION LIST - Students, you will be responsible to create an equation list in the back of your notebook as the semester progresses. Most students use the last 3 to 4 pages of the notebook for equations. This equation list will be very useful during the semester. For the semester exam, you will most likely use this list as one of your resources for your page of notes.
EXAMS - Please prepare yourself for exams by starting your review early. The test is challenging and takes a lot of time and effort.
