Amberly Family Update 3/22/24
Amberly Families,
We hope you are enjoying the start of Spring Recess. This week marks the end of the third quarter. We are so pleased with all of the great progress we have seen this year and look forward to continued success throughout the fourth quarter. The last few weeks have been busy and full of events. Thank you goes out to families for taking the time to meet with teachers during conferences. Your support and partnership is greatly appreciated. A big shoutout to Amberly PTA for providing their volunteer efforts to support the Book Fair and the Binglow Dance Party. The Book Fair was a hit with students and families had a blast at the Glow event. Check out pictures below of all the fun that we're having at Amberly. Enjoy family time and school resumes on April 1.

Character Trait of the Month: Perseverance and Resilience. At our all school HOUSES meeting today on March 21st, the students discussed this character trait with their Houses. Be sure to see what they learned and talk about these traits at home!
First Day Shoe Fund *Spring Pilot* came to Amberly this month. We had a huge turnout of students who received new shoes. Thank you to the organization and the coordination of community volunteers for the support. See below for our pictures.
Kindergarten/Y5 Night: Thank you to all the caregivers and families for attending this night last week as we gear up for the 24-25 School Year enrollment. If you are not able to attend and have any questions regarding registration, please reach out to the Amberly Office and we can help. We will be having our second annual "On the Road" Y5/Kindergarten registration with Mrs. Joswick, Mrs. Gaines and myself again this year being offered at Milham Meadows Playground to help families with this process who were not able to attend the Open House Night on February 29th and still need help getting their paperwork and questions answered. This was a great way to catch many families last year and help to better prepare for the fall with enrollment. The date and time will be sent out soon, be watching for this!
