Amberly Family Update 4/26/24Â
Amberly Families,
Good afternoon and hope all is well. It is only two weeks away from Tiger Trek and the excitement is in the air. With our fundraising goal of $30,000 we ask that you spread the word to family and friends who may be interested in supporting the Amberly PTA. Below is the flier that went home, along with the QR code and other ways to contribute. This is our only fundraiser of the year and it helps support multiple experiences for Amberly students. From field trip travel expenses, to events hosted at Amberly, to helping teachers purchase classroom items, these funds are put to good use. Please consider donating as the Amberly experience is a special one for students and families alike. This week we completed our second week of M-STEP testing and the only assessments left are for our 5th grade students.  Thanks to all of the students for taking their time and doing their best. Enjoy the sunshine and have a great weekend!
Volunteer OpportunityÂ
Volunteers are being sought to help in the cafeteria for kindergarten and first grade lunch as well. Click on this link to sign up: click.
Family Input FormÂ
When placing students into a classroom, the goal is to create classrooms that are balanced academically, behaviorally, and socially, thus creating a healthy classroom environment for all students. If filling out, please request a particular classroom environment, but NOT a particular teacher. The final decision on all student placements is based upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, academic/social considerations, total class size, male/female ratio, and equitable grouping. Completing this form is NOT required, as great care is taken to ensure a quality educational experience and attention is given to each child. The form will stay open until Monday, April 29. Form Link: Click
Nuts and Bolts from Mrs. French
Kindergarten/Y5 Night: Thank you to all the caregivers and families for attending this night last month as we gear up for the 24-25 School Year enrollment. If you are not able to attend and have any questions regarding registration, please reach out to the Amberly Office and we can help. We will be having our second annual "On the Road" Y5/Kindergarten registration with Mrs. Joswick, Mrs. Gaines and myself again this year being offered at Milham Meadows Playground to help families with this process who were not able to attend the Open House Night on February 29th and still need help getting their paperwork and questions answered. This was a great way to catch many families last year and help to better prepare for the fall with enrollment. The date is May 30th, from 11:00am-12:00pm. The flyer is attached below. Spread the word!
