Doc Fest Talks

About Doc Fest Talks

During this year’s Festival of Doctoral Research the Graduate School are hosting ‘Doc Fest Talks’ on Thursday 20th June from 11.00am-12.00pm, and 3pm-4pm.

You will have a chance to present your research or another topic you're knowledgeable and passionate about.

We will consider all submissions and select 4 presenters in total. Each presentation will last no longer than 20 minutes, to include a Q&A session at the end.

What can I do in my presentation?

You may wish to do something different than PowerPoint slides, so we welcome you to get creative and have fun!

Could you do a stand-up comedy piece about research?

Could you do something involving audience participation?

Is your research interactive?

Eligibility – who can apply?

All current doctoral research students, including those undertaking professional doctorates, who have not graduated before 1 June 2019.
