To open your current PDR review, click on the review title in the My Reviews section.
You must have at least one Reviewer allocated to your review, and it will not be possible to follow the PDR review process without one. It is possible to add additional Reviewers if that is appropriate in your particular circumstances.
Commenters are optional, and are able to add comments to your review once you and your reviewer have completed your review, prior to your review finalisation.
To add a Reviewer of Commenter, select the relevant Add button, and start typing your reviewer's name in the 'Search by name' box. When their name appears you can add them to your review by first clicking on their name and then on the 'Select' button. Click on 'Add selected' to confirm.
Below the Reviewers and Commenters section, you will see a selection of buttons, enabling specific actions:
The 'Mandatory fields' option makes it easier to see which fields are mandatory and haven't been completed: this allows a useful check before you finalise your review. The default setting for this option is 'On'. Mandatory questions are always marked with an asterisk ('*') suffix, and have an additional orange background if this option is selected.
'Generate Printable PDF' will create a PDF snapshot of your current review.
'Add Attachment' and 'View & Manage Attachments' allow you to add additional documentary evidence that will be shared with your Reviewers and Commenters when you share your review.
'Keyboard Shortcuts' reminds you of the keyboard shortcuts that can be used in place of mouse commands.
If you are completing an Academic or Research review, you also see an additional 'Evidence from Pure' tab, containing qualifying information imported from the Pure system.
If your review from the preceding cycle was finalised, some fields in your new review will automatically be populated with data from this review: specifically your planned objectives and planned professional development. Other fields you need to complete will contain the test 'Reviewee to complete' until you start recording your answer. To enter text into an answer, click into the grey box and start typing.
The 'View History' button allows you to view a complete history of any changes you or your reviewer have made to the review answer.
You can navigate around your review either by clicking on the individual tabs to jump to specific pages, or by using the 'Next Page' and 'Previous Page' buttons at the bottom of each screen.
As you move down the review screen, the 'Save And Close' button remains visible at the top, and can be selected at any point to close your review form and save your current progress.
Your reviewer will not be able to see any of your changes unless and until you share them.
