How do I find a placement for this 3-day programme?
The university works with over 80 local schools and colleges. We will place you in a school or college for your ‘taster day’ through negotiation with our trained mentors in those establishments, so you have an opportunity to observe the appropriate subject and age ranges. We will organise this for you.
What else do I need to know?
You are required to spend at least 1 full day in your placement setting observing teaching.
Placements are usually in the local area and easy to reach by public transport. Unfortunately we can’t cover the cost of any transport to get to the placement.
