I am so excited to be a part of the Pope John Paul II family and the 1st grade team! Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I can’t imagine not being in the classroom each day with my students as they learn and grow. I am a product of Catholic education…Coatesville Area Catholic Elementary School, Bishop Shanahan High School, and Cabrini College. Catholic school holds a special place in my heart and each of these experiences has impacted me and who I am today. I have known since I was in first grade at CACES that I have wanted to teach! God always has a plan for each of us and He knew to bring me back to my roots with the school community where I first started as a student!
I graduated from Cabrini College in 2008 with a B.S. in Education and a psychology minor. I also completed my Masters in Education at Cabrini College in 2011. I am certified in Early Childhood and Elementary Education as well as a K-12 Reading Specialist. I have taught preschool for two years, 2nd grade for 13 years at St. Norbert School in Paoli, and this is my 3rd year of 1st grade at PJPII.
I am looking forward to meeting so many new families and being part of such an amazing school community.
