The PJPII Handbook states:
Students may not be excused from physical education class unless they have documentation. Reasonable accommodations may be made for students with minor injuries which did not require the immediate attention of a physician; however a note from the parent is required. If more than one class is missed in a trimester without documentation from a physician, the lack of participation will be reflected in the student’s grade. If a student is not cleared for physical education, the student may not participate in CYO or other school athletic activities.
***PLEASE communicate with me about any allergies, injuries, and/or sicknesses that may prevent your child from participating in gym class.***
Sitting out from class with a reasonable excuse is always permitted with parent's approval.
