Dear Parents,
Welcome back to another school year! We hope this will be a fruitful year for your child as well as an enjoyable one. We ask for your cooperation in enforcing the following regulations. Some of them are school policies while others are “Grade Level” Procedures.
Please have your child in the proper school attire. Gym uniforms are required on gym days. Each homeroom has gym on a different day. The handbook forms were sent out via email. We ask that you review the uniform section of the PJP Handbook with your student. The 5th and 6th Grade Expectations and the 5th and 6th Grade Conduct Consequences will be coming home next week. Please look for them in your student’s backpacks. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
If your child is not going home by his/her usual means of transportation, we will need a written note or email stating the change for that day. This is to ensure the safety of the children. Dismissal is at 2:45.
Homework is a very important aspect of learning. Please encourage your child to write down their assignments during the school day. Please consult each teacher’s website for the Daily Homework Tracker.
Textbooks and copybooks need to be covered by Friday, September 12th. Textbooks can be covered with spandex book sox, while copybooks should be covered with contact paper. Students' Social Studies (Grade 5 only), Math, Religion, Vocabulary, Reading (Grade 6 only) and Grammar workbooks must also be covered with contact paper.
Students have a daily snack break. They may bring a snack and water bottle for the day. Other drinks are not permitted in the classroom.
We look forward to sharing more information with you during our Back to School Night which is scheduled for Thursday, September 11, 2025 beginning at 6:30 pm. More information will be sent later via email.
