Middle School Latin Overview

In middle school at Pope John, students choose to focus their foreign language studies on one language: either French, Spanish, or Latin.

Middle school Latin students use the Oxford Latin Course Part I and Part II  to learn Latin grammar as well as study the life of Quintus Horatius Flaccus, commonly known as Horace, a renowned Roman lyric poet who lived during the time of famous Roman dictator Julius Caesar and the first Roman emperor Caesar Augustus.
