5Essentials Survey Summary
PJ23’s 5Essentials results show strong performance across all five areas when compared to Evanston D65 schools. Our school scores very strong in School Involvement and Families, and strong in Effective Leadership, Collaborative Teachers, and Ambitious Instruction. Supportive Environment is identified as a neutral area and remains above the district average, helping guide our continued improvement efforts.
At Pope John XXIII School, students benefit from caring relationships with teachers, counselor-led life skills instruction, and clear expectations that support both academic and personal growth. We are intentionally strengthening a consistent, schoolwide approach to social-emotional learning and student support so every child feels safe, supported, and known.
