In the last week of 2th therm our teachers told us that we had to do a project of drones. Xevi, the teacher who helps mye and my team in our particulary project, gave us a guide with a list of activities and points to explain. After one week of hard work, we have finished all the points and activities. Next are the recap of all of our work:
1- What is a drone?
A drone is an unmanned flying object that is controlled with a remote control. It has a great aerial control, the reason why the people use them.
2- History of the drones:
The drones are one of the most interesting inventions of the actuality. The first registered flight was in Australia, in 1907. The Austrians put 200 aerostatic balloons with bombs above the city of Venice. The creators of the drone were two brothers, Jacques and Louis Breguet in 1907.
3- Types of drones:
We can classificate drones depending on his structure or form. It exist two types of drones:
-Fixed-wing drones: This type of drone uses aerodynamics for help in its takeoff.
-Rotary drones: Are the mos popular drones in the actuality. Has various propellers and his options in the air are very diverse.
4- Uses of drones:
Drones have many interesting utilities but we have explained 10 of the most important ones.:
Rescue of people
Farming uses
Security and vigilance
Firefighters
Maintenance of infrastructures
Journalism and cinema
Exploration of danger areas

5-Interview:
At this point we've interviwed Martí Artalejo, a photograph who makes photos and videos with drones. He has explained his work and how it started. In the beginning of his work, he had utilzed a zeppelin with an ancient cam to take aerial photos. At the moment, he has a modern drone with many utility options, like automatic 360º photo. Together with his son they have an innovation business associated with the drones. They get paid by the people who want aerial videos or photos of, for example, his wedding.
6-Questionnaire:
We have gone to Girona to make a questionnaire at the people in the street. After asking to many people (enough people ignore him), we have got diverse graphics. We have seen that many people know about drones, but just a little number have driven one.
7-Building of our dron:
The last activity in our project was building a drone. We have utilized calabo wood for the structure and four little electric motors to move the propellers. After finishing the drone we have recorded a video explaining how we had done it.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, we think the project had been amazing and we have enjoyed very much. If we were to improve something, we would probably increase the excursions.
