Critical Capabilities and other useful classroom resources
All templates in the folders/links below are "view only" you will need to make a copy of each document if you wish to edit and adapt for your centre/class use.
Thinking about our own and others' wellbeing fits with our Poumāhaka Critical Capabilities teaching and learning.
How are you supporting your own, your colleagues, and your students' mental wellbeing?
These templates have been created to ensure that students across all educational settings in the Poumāhaka district are learning and building on their knowledge of pepeha. As they move through from ECE to primary and on to secondary their pepeha grows with them. As students enter BMC they should then have similar levels of knowledge, understanding and ability to introduce them selves in the traditional māori way with pepeha.
The document has templates for ECE right through until adult/teacher templates.
