COLLABORATION ACTIONING KNOWLEDGEABLE EDUCATORS
C.A.K.E groups provide an opportunity to strengthen relationships by collaborating with colleagues across the Poumāhaka Kāhui Ako.
To create action from the knowledge we gain as educators who are committed to creating change for our students.
They provide a platform for research, discussion, and professional development in 'areas of challenge' in your classroom.
Ultimately, the goal is to improve outcomes for your students by participating in Inquiry as part of your teacher professional growth cycle.
Collaboration underpins our success as a Community of learning:
"The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team."
- Phil Jackson

Participate in the conversation - stop sitting back waiting to be asked - you have strengths, use them.
Aim to be above the line - stay open, curious, committed to learning and growing, creativity, collaboration, innovation and relational connection.
Be honest, confront one's own pitfalls and look for ways to improve.
Do the readings, the research, collect the data from your students - be inquisitive
