To tell you the country we are studying. (Mexico)
To tell you about the book Looking Like Me and share some of the different parts of their identity (daughter, son, brother, sister, dancer, swimmer, athlete, bug lover, etc.)
To describe different emotions and act them out (happy, frustrated, proud, etc.)
To tell you at least one thing about Rosh Hashanah (it’s the Jewish New Year)
To name at least one traditional food eaten during Rosh Hashanah
To tell you at least one friend in their class who celebrates Rosh Hashanah
To tell/show you how to tap out our sight words or trick words we learned (and, the)
To “read” their letter mini books to you or their siblings (use their pointer power by pointing to each word)
To tell and/or show you the direction of horizontal, vertical, and diagonal lines
To point out patterns they notice with horizontal, vertical, and diagonal lines
To tell you about why it’s important to have and show manners, especially when eating
To tell you some table manners
To show you how many ways they can create the number 5
To tell you their rose, bud, and thorn for the week
