About Me

Hello, I am Ms. Zamudio! I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education/Special Education in 2019, my Master's degree in Elementary Education in 2024, and my Specialist's degree in Elementary Education in 2025 from the University of West Georgia. I completed my Reading Endorsement in 2023. I have been with Polk School District since 2020. I taught Pre-K at Tallatoona HeadStart for half a school year and was a Special Education paraprofessional for one year before starting the Exceptional Students teaching position. Over the past 7 years at Eastside, I have taught Reading and Math in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.

Students can learn in a safe, positive, and caring environment. While learning is different for everyone, identifying how each student learns best can lead to success, even for those who struggle. Every day is a joy for me to teach at Eastside!

I am originally from Grand Island, NE, but have lived in Cedartown, GA, for the last 18 years. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, playing games, organizing, watching crime shows, baking, drawing, and trying out new restaurants to eat at.

I look forward to another great year at EES!
