Welcome!

Hello!  Welcome to Pre-K! My name is Hannah Jones. I have been married for 10 year and we have one son.  I am a big family person.  We love spend time together, go to Dollywood, read together, and just have fun loving the life we have been blessed with.

I knew at an early age teaching was the job I wanted to do.  My mom would tell everyone that in Kindergarten I would play school and teach my younger brother, until he went to school himself and realized he didn't have to do everything I told him to do! I will say my love for teaching and helping children be successful is very dear to me.

I began my teaching career in Pre-K at Van Wert Elementary.  After 4 years in Pre-K, I transferred to Cherokee teaching 1st Grade for the past 12 years.  Now as I begin year 17 of teaching I am back home in Pre-K.

My Philosophy of Education

I believe that every child that walks through the door of my classroom is special and unique.  I will strive each and every day to help my students find a love for learning.  I want them to know that even as an adult I am learning everyday.  I will guide children to discover their individual aspects that make them who they are.  I understand that every child is different and we all have different styles of learning.  I will help nurture and encourage each child to find the style of learning that makes them the most success child they can be!
