Welcome!

Hello! My name is Jennifer Palafox. I am a Pre-K teacher here at Cherokee Elementary School. This is my third year teaching, and I am so excited to get to know each and every one of my new friends!

I was born and raised here in Cedartown, GA. I graduated from Cedartown High and went on to Georgia Highlands where I got my associate's degree. I then went on to get my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education at Kennesaw State University.

I come from a big, loving family! I am the youngest of 4. Our mom and dad have always taught us that if we put our minds to something, make it our goal, and work hard, we can achieve it. Teaching was and continues to be that goal for me. I'm a very happy wife to Erick Palafox and puppy mom to our sweet, Uzi.

My Philosophy of Education

Like I mentioned before, my parents have always taught me that if I put my mind to something and I work hard, I can achieve it. I am a strong believer in this for my students as well. I believe that this year, my students and I will work together everyday to learn more and more everyday. I am a firm believer that every student can learn in their own unique way, so we will work to find what works for each student. I am so excited for this school year!!
