My name is Elizabeth Forsyth. This will be my 6th year teaching in Polk County. I live in Aragon, Georgia with my three children, JRay (12), Ella (10), and Kimber (6). Family is of the utmost importance to me. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and our many animals. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, 3 goats, and 2 horses. I love anything outdoors. It's my belief that when we choose to appreciate the beauty and lessons of the natural world around us, we in turn become happier individuals who will transfer that joy back into the world, perpetuating the cycle of positivity. I absolutely love teaching. I wanted to be a teacher from the time I was 6 years old. Aside from being a stay-at-home mom for 10 years at one point, I have been a certified teacher for over 15 years. I am a 2003 graduate of Rockmart High School. I graduated from the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2007. My certification is focused on special education. I am very passionate about my work, and view it as a calling, not a career. I cannot wait for all this year has in store, not only for all I will teach my students, but also what they will teach me.
