It works better and faster than some other relaxation methods, such as listening to music or drinking a hot cup of tea. So give it a try, POB JFK HS library has so many print books, eBooks and audiobooks for you to read for enjoyment!
This specialized library collection serves as both an academic resource and a living memorial, dedicated to the comprehensive study of the Holocaust and other historical genocides. Beyond standard textbooks, this section houses a curated selection of primary source documents, survivor testimonies, scholarly analyses, and memoirs that provide an intimate look at the human cost of systematic intolerance. The core philosophy of this collection is rooted in the belief that remembrance is an active, not passive, responsibility. Ultimately, this library empowers students to become upstanders rather than bystanders, using the dark lessons of history to illuminate a path toward a more just and humane future.
