Passover
By, Ethan Rish
Have you ever heard of Passover? Passover is a Jewish holiday when we celebrate escaping slavery in Egypt. On the first two nights we have a seder (big dinner). At the Seder we read from the Haggadah (a book with the order of how we eat). When reading the Haggadah we have to do various steps from singing songs to dipping your finger in wine. We eat matzah instead of bread for 8 days after the seder. All of the things we do during Passover symbolize something about escaping slavery from Egypt.
