Bachelor in Early Childhood Education
The Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECEd) is a three-year preservice teacher education program aligned with CMO. 76 s.2017 guided by PNU Core Values, Institutional Outcomes (5Ds), and the Teacher Education (TED) Pathways. It ensures to uphold and support RA 10410 - Early Years Act which recognizes the age from zero (0) to eight (8) years as the first crucial stage of educational development. The program is designed to cultivate compassionate and competent early childhood educators who are dedicated to nurturing growth and development of young children.
Bachelor of Library and Information Science
The Bachelor in Library and Information Science curriculum is a 3-year baccalaureate program that aims to produce future-ready information specialists that are equipped with knowledge and professional skills to effectively and efficiently manage different types of libraries, archives, and other information centers. The program is designed to prepare students to be skilled in acquiring, managing, and organizing information resources in different formats, as well as championing information literacy and research skills among patrons. Students of the program are also expected to possess ICT skills that will allow them to provide support to digital education, manage e-resources, and deliver online services to the academic community.
Bachelor in Technology and Livelihood Education - ICT
The Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education with specialization in Information and Communications Technology (BTLE-ICT) is an undergraduate technical teacher education program that equips learners with adequate and relevant competencies in Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan (EPP) and Technology and Livelihood Education, particularly for the TLE exploratory courses from Grades 4 to 8 and specializes in Information and Communications Technology. They are expected to demonstrate broad and coherent, meaningful knowledge and skills in technology and livelihood education, possess and apply a wide range of teaching process skills (curriculum development, lesson planning, materials development, educational assessment, and teaching approaches), manifest a deep understanding of the learning process and faacilitating skills, equipped with high-level literacy, communication, numeracy, critical thinking, and learning skills. They are also expected to possess technical and technological competencies, knowledge, and skills in the area of information and communication technology.
Bachelor of Special Needs Education
The Bachelor of Special Needs Education (BSNEd) in Elementary Education is an undergraduate degree program which prepares basic education teachers who will instruct and manage diverse learners in inclusive and special education settings. Its graduates will be equipped to teach the basic education curriculum and alternate curricula depending on the needs of the learners. These teachers who will teach in the elementary level will be trained across different subject areas and will then provide educational services in inclusive classrooms or provide educational services to learners who may be enrolled existing programs in Special Education which address the context and needs of particular learners.
Bachelor of Elementary Education with concentration in Mathematics and Science
The Bachelor of Elementary Education with concentration in Mathematics and Science program is a special and innovative elementary education program that aims to produce elementary teachers who are highly competent in teaching mathematics and problem solving and science and scientific literacy in the elementary grades to engage with science-related issues, and with the ideas of science, as a reflective citizen. It supports them to explain phenomena scientifically, evaluate and design scientific inquiry, and interpret data and evidence. It encourages and supports them to apply scientific, environmental, technological, and engineering knowledge, practices, and principles in the context of real life situations. (DepEd Matatag), particularly in the intermediate levels and in science-oriented elementary schools.
Bachelor of Elementary Education with concentration Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health
The Bachelor of Elementary Education with a concentration in Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health (MAPEH) is a comprehensive program that equips future educators with the core competencies outlined in CMO 74, s. 2017, while also aligning with the institutional outcomes of Philippine Normal University (PNU). This 182-unit curriculum includes 21 units specifically dedicated to MAPEH concentration courses, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to teach MAPEH at both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Graduates of this program will possess specialized knowledge and skills in delivering the fundamentals of Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health literacies. The program empowers students through a blend of creative performances, experiential learning, independent practice, technology integration, and various innovative teaching approaches. This ensures that graduates are not only proficient in their subject matter but also adept at engaging and inspiring young learners through dynamic and effective MAPEH instruction.

Bachelor of Elementary Education with Concentration in Character and Civic Education (BEECCE) is Philippine Normal University’s innovative course offering which aims to develop informed, ethical, and proactive teachers who are primed to engage in democratic processes and contribute meaningfully to nation-building. This interdisciplinary program offers a comprehensive exploration of Filipino values, norms, traditions, and cultural dynamics, spanning historical antecedents to contemporary implications. Students in this program are being prepared to teach Araling Panlipunan and Good Manners and Right Conduct to elementary school students, particularly Key Stage 2, equipping their learners with the civic competence [GMRC part] needed to become responsible, active, and productive citizens of the Republic. The program meets the requirements of CHED Memorandum Circular No. 74, series of 2017, which outlines the minimum standards for the Bachelor of Elementary Education.
