Welcome!

My name is Elaythea Moorehead, and I am a higher education professional with more than 16 years of experience supporting students through academic advising, admissions, career development, internship administration, and higher education operations. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Central Missouri, a Master of Business Administration from Argosy University, and a Master of Education in Higher and Postsecondary Education from Arizona State University. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping students identify their goals, overcome challenges, and connect with the resources they need to succeed.

In addition to my experience in higher education, I spent several years working in behavioral health, where I helped adolescents and young adults ages 10 to 27 access residential and clinical mental health treatment. That experience strengthened my compassion, problem-solving skills, and commitment to meeting individuals where they are while helping them navigate difficult situations. Whether I am advising a prospective student, supporting a current student, or helping someone find resources that better fit their needs, my goal is always to empower others to make informed decisions about their future.

Outside my professional life, I enjoy traveling, experiencing new cultures, and attending concerts—I'm a proud concert enthusiast. I also cherish spending time with loved ones. Those relationships have shaped the empathy, patience, and dedication I bring to both my personal life and my work. I believe education opens doors, leadership creates opportunities, and every student deserves someone who believes in their potential. I'm a St. Louis, Missouri native from University City, but I have lived in the Phoenix, AZ area since 2010.
