Will I be individually recognized at my commencement ceremony?
Yes, we will individually recognize all students and
graduates who attend the ceremony, in Tucson.
In addition, all 2025 students and graduates will be listed, in the commencement program.
How does ticketing work?
Ticketing details will be available to all 2025 graduates & students who are on track to complete their programs by December 2025. Watch your PMI email for this information.
Is there a rehearsal?
No, there are no formal rehearsals planned. You will receive instructions when you check in on the day of the commencement.

Where do I park? Do I have to pay for parking?
Effective January 1, 2025 Tucson Convention Center has enhanced parking procedures. Cash is not accepted at the parking booths. Major debit and credit cards will be accepted.

Important: Garmin International, a global leader in fitness technology, is hosting their inaugural certified Boston Qualifier full Marathon. The race kicks off at sunrise in the heart of downtown Tucson, which is across the street from your graduation venue, the Linda Ronstadt Music Hall. The race begins and ends at the same place! Be sure to understand:
The race will not require full road closures, except for the start/finish lines on Congress and Granada, again, right across the street from your graduation venue . Business ingress and egress along the race will be available to drivers and we ask that drivers use caution and obey all signage and direction from public safety personnel.
Access to TCC Parking Lot B and Lot C Garage will be available on Granada Avenue by way of Cushing Street from the east and west.
Traveling into Downtown via East I10 from the north, exit Broadway/Congress, travel south on Frontage Road and take a left onto Cushing Street to access TCC parking off Granada.
Traveling west into Downtown on Congress Street, take a left onto Church Avenue to access TCC Lot A Garage or continue to Cushing Street which will provide access to TCC Lot B and Lot C Garage via Granada Avenue.
From 22nd Street head north onto 6th Avenue, make a slight left into Barrio Viego (Stone Avenue) and access TCC parking by way of Cushing Street.
Arrive wearing your grad attire
Ensure all guests have their reserved ticket for entry
There is strict clear bag policy in effect at the Linda Ronstadt Music Hall
There is no storage for personal items at the facility
Leave personal items with family, friends, or at the hotel
Graduate registration starts at promptly at 12 Noon and ends at 1:30 PM

Do I have to pay for my graduate attire?
There is no extra charge for ordering your grad attire. Congratulations, you earned it!
When will my attire arrive?
January - December graduates have already had the opportunity to order and have received their attire.
Please note: If you completed your program during this time and did not order your attire, you can still so, please contact onlinegraduation@pmi.edu Attention: Cindy Sage no later than September 8, 2025.
How and when will I receive my diploma?
Diplomas will be sent to the graduate's portal address 4-6 weeks post-graduation. Please note: Diplomas will not be distributed at commencement.
How do I know if I earned an honors cord?
When you create your order you can check your portal for the status of honors, which is awarded for a 3.75+ GPA.
Where can I get announcements, diploma frames, etc?
PMI does not provide for announcements or diploma frames, however, you are free to create or order on your own.

If I have achieved honors, will I be recognized at the ceremony?
As mentioned above, a gold honors cord is awarded to graduates who have achieved a 3.75 GPA or higher. Please note:
Graduates who are in attendance on the day of the ceremony and have completed their program of study prior to commencement will have their names read, with honors. This will also be noted in the commencement program.
If you are a student choosing to participate in commencement prior to completing your program of study, please note that because your classes are still in session, honors determinations will be evaluated upon program completion.

What is the difference between graduation and commencement?
Great question!
Your PMI graduation date is the very last day of your program. This is your official graduation date and it will appear on your diploma and on your transcripts.
The Commencement is the ceremony that celebrates the occasion of your program graduation and is when you "walk" across that stage!
If you have completed your program and are not able to attend and "walk" at the ceremony, you will still graduate!
