Grad Checklist

 1. You Must Register to Participate in the Commencement Ceremony

•  All January - December 2024 graduates and students who intend to walk in the October ceremony must register for the event through their PMI Commencement 2024 portal.  Keep an eye on your PMI email for this announcement from our event planner, Marching Order, in July.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Portal Opens: Monday, July 15

Portal Closes: Friday, August 16

• Once you are registered for the event you will then be able to claim up to three guest tickets and distribute as you wish.  

• Please note:  If there are extra tickets available after the portal closes in August, you will be notified by email of the details.

•  All guests must have a ticket in order to enter Linda Ronstadt Music Hall (LRMH).  Please  review all of the Linda Ronstadt Music Hall policies in  "Know Before You Go" .

• Children three years and older do require a ticket.

• There is a strict reentry policy for all guests. Again, please be certain to review the "Know Before You Go" policies.

2. Your Cap and Gown

     Please Note: If you have already ordered/received your attire, you may disregard this section.

• All graduates who participate are expected to wear their attire and will have the opportunity to order official attire for the 2024 commencement.

• Students who completed their programs between January 2024 - June 2024 have already ordered and received their attire. If you completed your program during this time and did not order your attire, but would still like to attend the commencement ceremony, please submit an order here. This form will close on July 30, 2024.

• Students who will be completing their programs in July 2024 - December 2024 will have the opportunity to order grad attire in the summer so that their attire arrives in plenty of time for the commencement celebration. You will receive an invitation to order in July.

• You are encouraged to order your attire even if you do not participate in the in-person ceremony. There is no extra charge - after all, you earned it! 

3. Receive Your Diploma

Graduate diplomas are ordered by PMI Online administration and are mailed to each graduate's portal address within four to six weeks of their program completion. Our diploma vendor, Parchment, will mail the diploma to the address the graduate provides in their student portal. If the address needs to be updated, the graduate must make any changes to their address in the student portal.  Again, your portal address is also the diploma mailing address. Diplomas will not be distributed at the commencement ceremony.

Parchment also provides diploma services for graduates in the form of digital diplomas. A digital diploma is an official, signed and certified PDF of your diploma. A link for the digital diploma is sent to your PMI email via Parchment within 24 hours of your program completion.

4. Get Ready to Celebrate!
