Reading at Home
Let's share the joy of reading...
Life is very different at the moment and I am sure there are lots of you that are worried. When things happen that you have no control over it can be unsettling and a bit scary. It can also be very strange not being around your friends. Sharing your reading experiences, whilst you are apart, will not only allow you to feel more connected but will also give you the opportunity to recommend which books you have enjoyed and therefore passing on the gift of a great story to your friends and fellow students.
Please send any photos of yourself and/or your family reading (please make sure you have permission to do this first)and let us know about how your reading habits have changed or developed during your time away from school, so that we can start sharing our experiences with each other...
'At home, me and my family have been sitting together at the end of the day and having 30 minute reading together. It's nice to have that time together and to explore new books.' Annie Yr 9
