This past August, Plusminig together with Metal Bulletin lead the "2da Conferencia: Excelencia Estratégica en Minería" ("2nd Conference: Mining strategic excellency). The conference was successful at generating dialogue on how the industry is handling the regional mining industry's main challenges and on how innovation is taking more and more importance within the industry's long-term strategies. For this, and with the objective of focusing on the progress being made in Latin America, the event hosted several high executives from the big mining sector and government and union representatives from Chile, Argentina, Peru, Colombia and Ecuador.
