Behind in school?
Create a to-do list.
Talk to each teacher individually and create a plan for getting caught up in their class.
Disorganized?
Create a to-do list.
Use a calendar app to keep track of assignments and due dates.
Create separate digital folders for each class.
Difficulty concentrating while doing homework?
Take frequent breaks.
Set a timer and work for 15 minutes, then take a 10 minute break. Repeat until homework is finished.
Do homework in a room with sunshine or plenty of lighting.
Do something active before starting homework (jumping jacks, pushups, etc.).
Feeling tired and falling asleep in class?
Try these desk stretches! Then, sit up straight and push your feet into the ground.
Inhale 4 seconds through your nose and exhale 4 seconds through your mouth. Repeat.
Use a standing desk if possible.
Take a movement break, when appropriate. Ask to go to the bathroom or get a drink.
Make sure you are getting at least 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep at night. Silencing your phone or keeping it in a different room at night can help with this.
