From age 3, I had decided I wanted to be a ballet dancer. I spent from ages 3-18 training to reach this goal, but was unfortunately injured shortly before auditions for companies and ballet schools would begin when I was 17. While I had to give up my dream of dancing professionally, I performed in graduate school with Willamette Apprentice Ballet for five years.
