The double bass is the largest and lowest instrument in the string family. Pickerington schools own many basses, so our student bass players have a bass to play at school and then most families rent one from The Loft to keep at home to practice. If you really want to play the bass but your family cannot afford the bass rental, please reach out to your orchestra teacher.
