Start reflecting on who you are, your strengths and your interests. These questions will ultimately help guide your plans post-high school. Here are some questions to consider:

• What are your hobbies and interests?

• How would you describe yourself?

• What have been your favorite subjects in school?

• What has been your favorite part of high school?

• Are you interested in pursuing college? Why?

• Do you know how you study best?

• Do you like to read?

• Do you write well?

• Are there specific activities you would like to pursue in college?

• Do you prefer to live away from home or stay local?

• How important is it to have an established relationship with your teacher?

• Do you prefer learning through lecture or project-based learning among peers?

• Is there a career that excites you?

• Do you have the skills to live independently?
