The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names "Audrey II" - after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!

Auditions - Wednesday, Sept 11th & Thursday Sept, 12 - 3:00-8:00pm Auditorium (We strongly suggest that you attend the Wednesday audition and we may ask you to return on Tuesday, Sept 12 for Callbacks if necessary).
At Auditions, you will be asked to sing and dance to music that you will be taught. Please be familiar with the songs, Suddenly Seymour and Somewhere that's Green. Reading from the script will only happen at Callbacks. We ask that everyone come at 3pm to check in first then you will be taught the music and dance steps.

Helpful Audition Suggestions
Plan to be here until excused by Directors.
You will be reading from a selected scene from the show. You will have time to practice before going into the audition. You will not need to prepare a monologue.
Bring a snack and homework.
Have your Application submitted prior to the Audition Date.
Include any known conflicts that you have with the schedule posted.
Dress for movement at Auditions
There is no specific order as to who is seen first as we might take specific combos of students. You will not be at the audition for the whole 5 hours but we can't give you a specific end time. If you can't stay to complete your audition, you will not be considered for a role. Please plan to remain until dismissed.
Arrive on time/early for practice to allow yourself enough prep time to be ready for rehearsal
Respect everyone involved in the production. Disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated
Always have your script and a pencil
Take notes on blocking during and after rehearsal
Drink 6 8oz glasses of water daily, eat healthy to stay healthy for the production
No Flip Flops or bare feet! Proper stage footwear is required
Wear comfortable clothes for movement
You are responsible to contact the Director if you will be absent from rehearsal
You are given 8 excused/unexcused absences (does not include Conflicts indicated on your Audition form)
The Director has final say on all matters related to the show
Homework is your first priority. Use any free time during rehearsal to study but be nearby
Let the Stage Manager know if you are stepping out of the Auditorium to study
You must be passing all of your classes to be allowed to participate in production
You must be registered with Activities by Mon, Oct 7th
Activity Fee is $135 to be paid by Mon, Oct 7th
No running in the theater
No food or gum in the theater
Only trained personnel will be allowed in the Tech Booth and Catwalk
Only trained personnel are allowed to use the fly rigging system
Clean up your mess before you leave
All theater materials/supplies shall be put back where you found them
Everyone is required to participate in Strike after the final performance
