School-Based Therapy at PVHS

Pleasant Valley Community School District partners with community agencies to provide additional services to students and families. The opportunity to receive support in the school building, during the school day, helps reduce barriers for students to access important services. Across the country there is a rising need for behavioral health services, and the PVCSD community is no exception. School-based services are offered by third-party clinicians during the school day in the high school building. Students and families interested in learning more should contact the PVHS School Counseling Office.

PVHS hosts three school-based clinicians throughout the year. During the 2023-2024 school year, PVHS welcomes the community partnership with Jennifer Cobb, Kriste Dean and Nikki Hayes. Each provider will collaborate with students and families to begin and schedule meeting times that will have the least impact on a student's instructional time.
