Our Pleasanton School District Policy states that food is not allowed to be brought into a classroom to celebrate a birthday. Birthdays will be celebrated in the classroom by the class singing the birthday song to the birthday child. If you would like to send in a treat please consider sending in SHARPENED pencils, erasers or donate a chapter book or picture book to the class. If you would like to donate a bouncy ball for Skill or a jump rope that would be wonderful too. As discussed at Back To School Night, please do not send in any food.

Birthday invitations may be given out in class if the ENTIRE class is invited to the event. Otherwise, no invitations are to be handed out at school. Also, due to district policy I'm not allowed to share email addresses with parents for social events.
