About Mrs. V

Welcome!  I am Vanessa Muellerleile. The students know me as Mrs. V. I am the school counselor at  Walnut Grove Elementary School in the Pleasanton Unified School District.

This 2025/2026 school year will be my 13th year as a school counselor. I received my Master of Science in Counseling, and Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential from California State University, East Bay. I am passionate about helping students achieve their highest potential. As member of our school and district PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Support)  teams, I believe all students can be successful given the appropriate tools and supports. My favorite part about working with elementary students is helping them learn, grow, and develop skills that will foster independence and resiliency. 

When I am not at work you can find me enjoying the outdoors and spending time with my family.
