Dear Families,

Welcome! I am thrilled to be your child's second grade teacher this year. Second grade is such an exciting year. Your child will grow so much this year! As a second grader, your child will begin to become more confident in their own thinking, explore more complex topics, and through all of this they will become independent lifelong learners. To reach this goal, I will work with your children so they are able to achieve their "best effort."

As we start our year online, communication and staying connected is very important to me and our classroom family. To help us communicate as family, please check out the parent and Seesaw tabs at the top of the page. Looking at these tabs will be a great starting place to become familiar with this year. You will be able to learn a little about me, complete a parent form (in the parent tab), and familiarize yourself with Seesaw. I will be using Seesaw for most of my communication this year.
