All About Me

Hi. My name is Angela Serrano. I am excited to be teaching second grade at Donlon this year! I have lived in the Bay Area for most of my life with the exception of a couple of years where I lived in Sonora. I graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I have been teaching in Pleasanton for ____ years all at Donlon. Before coming to Donlon, I also taught in Milpitas and Livermore School Districts.

As your child's teacher this year, my main goal is to help your child become an independent, lifelong learner. To reach this goal, I will work with each child so they are able to achieve this goal. In working with your child, we will develop "I can and will try' attitude, which I feel enables success.

When I am not in school, you can find me doing my favorite hobby--traveling the world with my husband, Mike and my children Matthew and Alyssa.
