Hello! My name is Julie Frey, and I am the school counselor at Alisal Elementary. Over the past 22 years I have worked in many different capacities with children in the Pleasanton Unified School District. I began as a teacher in 1996 with a multiple subject teaching credential, and after returning to school for a Master of Science in Counseling and a PPS credential in 2001, I became an elementary school counselor. I have also worked as a home instructor, a Tobacco Use Prevention Educator and cessation counselor, a middle school support counselor, and additionally as a school psychology intern. I am also a parent of two children attending schools here in Pleasanton, and when I'm not working, I can often be found volunteering as an Art in Action teacher. I feel very fortunate to get to live and work in this wonderful community.
