Can I audition for an ensemble that I did NOT sign up for for next year?
Absolutely! Better to audition and then change your schedule than to miss out by not auditioning!
If I am already in the ensemble in which I want to participate, do I have to audition again?
Unless you are currently in Concert Choir, yes.
Can I be in multiple groups?
Of course! Please note on your Audition Form what ensembles you hope to be in, and I will help to make it work in your schedule.
Can I be in a group (or multiple) AND take AP Music Theory?
Yes! As long as it works in your schedule.
How will my audition be scored?
Song Performance - 5 points
Scales - 5 points each
Triads - 5 points total
Tonal Memory - 3, 4, and 5 points each (12 points total)
Sight-Reading - 10 points
Part Learning (RnB only) - 10 points
What is the class schedule for next year?
That is yet to be determined. The school creates the master schedule based on what will create the least conflicts for all students.
Should everyone on the planet be in choir?
YES. Thank you for asking.
