You made it to the end of 2nd Grade Science!
To celebrate, here's a "Game Board" for the Last Week of school with a bunch of different activities for you to choose from. Look at the choices, pick what sounds good (and reasonable... because some might require special equipment that you don't have at home), and DO IT! Then, post your results or experience on a Flip Grid! Enjoy!
This isn't really an "assignment", but I thought you'd like to see the progress on the Grass Heads I set up last week. Watch this short video to see how they have changed in 7 days!
In today's lesson, you will watch a Mystery Science video and then I will show you how I set up the experiment. You are welcome to set it up, too... but since the materials might be harder to find than others, I figured I'd just do it for all of us! We will see the results of my experiment next week! Enjoy!
Click on the document to the left to find the instructions for this assignment. Try to have this done by Weds., April 22.
CLICK HERE to go to a Google Doc with instructions and links to do your first official remote learning science lab activity. Try to do it by Friday March 27. But if you can't do it by then, please just do it as soon as possible. Have fun!
These Mystery Science activities are OPTIONAL - just do them when you want to do something fun!
Do you have some questions about science? It's time to get some answers!
Click on the links below to go to a Mystery Science Lesson which will give you the answers to some common questions. Some lessons are short mini lessons that need no supplies or materials. The longer lessons might need supplies or adult preparation. (There is an easy way to check... see the Prep Instructions after you click the link.)
Have fun and stay curious!
