Work-Based Learning (WBL) opportunities for current PUSD CTE Students 

INTERNSHIPS * PRE-APPRENTICESHIPS *APPRENTICESHIPS * AND MORE!

1. Active opportunities will be highlighted. Look for those that are within your CTE pathway. 

2. Log into your PUSD Google Account and apply with the Google link.

3. You will need an up-to-date resume to apply for all internships, youth apprenticeships, and part-time jobs (not for most job shadows). Upload your resume as a PDF to a Google Drive and ensure the sharing settings are set to Public (or "Anyone with the link can view") so employers can access it. You will share the link on the application form. Scroll down to find helpful RESUME WRITING resources. Cover letters are optional. 

4. IMPORTANT: Any and all questions must be sent directly to PUSD at WorkBasedLearning@pleasantonusd.net. Contacting the business partner directly is not permitted and will result in disqualification. 

5. Please Note: 

   1. For PAID opportunities, please review required Work Permit procedure. All students under the age of 18 must have a valid work permit for each specific employment opportunity. Work Permit form and instructions (Submit within 48 hours after you've accepted an offer.)

   2. For UNPAID opportunities, please review the Unpaid Training Authorization form. These form are required by the State of California for all students under the age of 18. (This does not apply to job shadows.)
