I only see students once each week, students don't get to learn a lot about me. Sure, they know I enjoy music, have kids, and enjoy being silly, but we get so busy with the learning that I forget to let them know more about me!
My family and I live in Livermore. My family and I take care of one dog (Lola) and two cats (Lucy and Minestrone). My two kids go to PUSD schools!
I became a teacher in 2005. I spent the first 17 years of my career doing mostly teaching middle school band. This is my fourth year at Alisal, and I love it.
I am a percussionist. While you see me play ukulele and guitar a lot, I spent my time growing up playing drums and piano. I went to University of the Pacific in Stockton, which is where I met my wife Rebecca. There I played the marimba a lot. That is the instrument near my desk that I play in class.
