Through a grant from the Aetna Foundation; East Central Florida Regional Planning Council, CityLab-Orlando, Playground City, Kaley Square, Good Food Central Florida, and the Holden Heights Community Development Corporation are collaborating to create Cycles and Sprouts: A Community Based Agriculture and Bicycle Repair program. Playground City is excited to lead the development of the Cycles & Sprouts curriculum! Our approach to development is based on Human-Centered Design methods. HCD emphasizes empathy building and experimentation to design meaningful products, in this case, a curriculum that will enable people to level up their urban ag and bike repair skills!
