As you prepare for the next step in your life, there are many options for you to consider. This website is intended to give you some resources that may make this transition a little less painful and a lot less confusing!

If you are looking for some job experience while also earning high school credit, please visit with Mr. Christensen, cchris@platte1.k12.wy.us, 307.322.2075, Extension 5015 at Wheatland High School to inquire about enrolling in a volunteer Occupational Mentorship in the community or a paid job within the Job Co-Op program.

Step Two: The Resume

A Resume is a 1 page document highlighting your Educational and Work Experiences. While in school, it is also important to include Extra-curricular and Community Service activities. Many employers also want to see any Leadership experiences you may have had. The goal of the resume is to entice the employer to invite you to a job interview.
